Migration Services Honeywell provides migration services to move a client’s existing POMS system to the latest versions of the POMS software. Honeywell will also work with a client to identify any customizations that can be replaced by standard product.

The resulting benefits of migration services:
· Reduce customized support costs by moving to standard product
· Move to latest platforms and technologies supported by Honeywell
· Move off unsupported platforms (such as Windows NT and Oracle 7.3.4)

Honeywell offers two types of migration services: standard Product Migration and a System Port Migration.

Standard Migration
This first service is a typical upgrade of POMS software. Standard Migration will involve the migration of a client’s existing system version to a more current release.

Industry knowledgeable Project Managers and Service Engineers work with businesses to efficiently and quickly upgrade a system. Honeywell ensures a high level of process quality while maintaining all of the system’s historical data.

Port Migration
The second migration type is a “port” approach that involves upgrading the clients existing POMS Kernel version while maintaining the client’s existing BPO object versions. This approach allows clients to maintain their existing user interface of POMS while increasing functionality, efficiency, and speed of their system.
Experienced Honeywell personnel will assess a client’s existing system and plan a concise effort to improve operational performance. These activities are performed in accordance with initial system requirements to maintain traceability while minimizing a client’s validation efforts.
