Education Services

Honeywell Life Sciences classes combine demonstration, lecture, and hands-on exercises. Students actually use the products as part of a simulated customer environment.

POMS training is conducted onsite at customer locations or at our Learning Center located in Herndon, Virginia. Custom classes are also an option for customers with special requirements.

Delivery Options

POMS Courses at the Herndon Virginia Learning Center
We offer a regular schedule of courses on the POMS and eSpec products. These courses are open to any customer or partner. Please use the links at left for course descriptions, schedule and registration.

POMS Courses at Customer Site
In addition to our regular schedule, all POMS courses can be given at the customer's location. On-site delivery means that our instructors come to your location to work with groups of your employees. This can make scheduling easier since your employees won't have to travel allowing more of them to participate at one time. We can even provide all the necessary computer equipment for the courses.

Customized POMS Courses
While our standard courses are designed to cover as much material as possible, we understand that your organization may have specific needs in regards to employees learning to work with POMS. With customized courses, we work with you to develop materials specific to your organization's requirements and provide the instruction either at your location or in Herndon, Virginia.

Distance Learning of POMS
Some of the POMS courses can be adapted for Distance Learning. Students join in from any location with an internet connection and phone. Slide presentations and live demonstrations are shown on screen while students interact with the instructor over the phone and typed messaging.

Who Can Attend
Training is available to those who have purchased Honeywell POMSnet or POMS products for the products' intended use; an engineering/contracting firm that is sponsored by a customer; an engineering/contracting firm that has partnership agreement with Honeywell; or a party who, in Honeywell's opinion, is a potential customer.
