POMSnet Overview
The POMSnet Overview course presents an overall picture
of the POMSnet product and how it fits into the landscape
of manufacturing enterprise solutions. The course
describes POMSnet and its functionality, concept
of operation, system architecture and components,
and the features that provide system configurability.
POMSnet applications, including specification management,
recipe and worksheets, material management, quality
control, equipment management, order management,
dispense operation, recipe execution, and report
generation are covered through lecture, demonstration
and hands-on practice activities.

POMSnet Comprehensive
Introduction
Through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and
hands-on exercises, this class provides the appropriate
introduction to the POMSnet application for customer
project team members to effectively participate in
POMSnet implementation projects. This course includes
an overview of POMSnet products, POMSnet concept of
operation, architecture and components of POMSnet,
and the features that provide configurability. It also
includes a demonstration, which shows some of POMSnet
key functionality.
POMSnet Comprehensive Introduction course covers key
features of the POMSnet Material Management and Dispense
modules through lectures and hands-on exercises. Moreover,
this class teaches participants the basics of how to
create and maintain specifications using POMSnet Specification
Management. (5 days)
POMSnet System Configuration
and Administration
In this course, students will install and configure
a small POMSnet network in the classroom. Through
presentation, demonstrations and hands-on exercises,
students will learn about the POMSnet architecture,
how to setup and configure a network, and understand
the processes and files underlying a working system.

Using POMSnet Specification
Management
Through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on exercises, this
class teaches participants how to create and maintain specifications using
POMSnet Specification Management module. (3 days)
Using POMSnet Material
Management
Through hands-on exercises, presentation, and demonstration, this class teaches
students how to control movement and record the status of manufacturing materials
from initial receipt through addition to the manufacturing process. (1 day)
Using POMSnet Weigh
Dispense
Through instructor presentation, demonstration, and
hands-on practice exercises, this class teaches participants
how to use the functionality built into the POMSnet
Dispense application.
